Obama Just Can’t Win (Unless You Count Being America’s President A ‘Win’)
Dudes on the far right: "The Wave, yes! I love the Wave. Is Barack doing the Wave? Oh, God I hope Barack did the Wave too. I'm just gonna sneak a peek. Hopefully, he's just now sitting down from having engaged in the Wave also. Is he sittin--damn! He didn't do it. Barack did not do the Wave. Ugh! I'm so stupid. Why did I do the Wave? It's so dumb. Everyone knows how dumb it is. I'm gonna start rooting for the Sox just so Barack doesn't think I'm a TOTAL spazz."
This picture tells you everything you need to know about how you see the world. It’s a Rorschach blotting, really. Is this a positive picture of the President not engaging in the wave – a gimmick widely viewed as dumb. Or is this just further evidence that our president is an emotionless automaton unable to connect to most “common folk?”
Or, is this an infuriating picture in which our president watched D.C.’s Stephen Strasburg fan more Sox than an industrial strength clothes dryer instead of toiling away at figuring out how to get money back into our pockets, tourists back onto the Gulf Coast and American soldiers back into America?
No matter how you view this photo, it seems clear Malia’s close to getting grounded for something.
