The Day The Canucks Synchronized Their Tinkles

The water utility company in Edmonton, Canada released a water consumption chart on Monday, just eight days after America’s neighbors to the North triumphed in the gold medal game. The chart details the water consumption (or non-consumption) during the game. The big revelation? Nothing that any true sports fan couldn’t already assume:

Water consumption spiked to abnormal highs in between each period and abnormal lows during gametime action. Hockey fans across the city (and, let’s face it, country) risked permanent bladder damage by holding in uncountable amounts of LaBatt’s until the end of each period. And during the medal ceremony? Forget it. Real fans just wet where they stood.

That’s the Canadian way.

Graph below, don’tcha know.
