Tip-In Points: Andrei! Andrei! Ariba!

Anyone can suggest adds and drops for the NBA fantasy fans out there, but few make those suggestions from the gut.  We’ve also sprinkled in tons of helpful stats for all fantasy formats too. Because that’s the kind of fantasy help you deserve.

Andrei Kirilenko, UTA Against Dallas, Kirilenko had a 13/ 8/ 3/ 4 stls line. Of all the secondary players that are still somewhat available in fantasy leagues (77 percent owned), AK-47 is the player that really shouldn’t be unowned the most. And while that wasn’t my bestly constructed sentence, don’t allow it to cloud your judgment. Kirilenko has averaged 28 min./ 13 pts/ 5 rbds/ 3 ast/ 3 blks+stls  in 2010. Not everyone can own LeBron and Bosh and normally the end of most fantasy benches are filled with guys that do one or two things well. Kirilenko doesn’t do anything phenomenally, but he also will fill up the box score on most nights. Guys like that at the end of your bench are often the difference between first place and Brad Millerville.

Scroll down and stare at the text until a rocket appears (joke’s on you. The Rockets didn’t play last night).

Spencer Hawes, SAC 23/ 7 in 40 minutes. How normal is this? He’d only played over 40 minutes in three other games and scored 23 points in two other games. So … not normal at all really.

Kevin Martin, SAC Cold again. For the fourth time in six games, he shot worse than 30 percent in 47 minutes and there wasn’t much that anyone could do about it.

Tyreke Evans, SAC …Mostly because Tyreke Evans was not there to pick up the slack. Sore ankle. Bruised left hip. He’s like my uncle if my uncle was good at something.

Kenyon Martin, DEN On fiyah! He earned his 18th double-double (24/12) this season after having only 16 over his last three. UPGRADE!

J.R. Smith, DEN Why is everyone so down on Earl? He’s damn near his totals after 41 games this year as he was last year. A tad down, but everyone needs to chill.
2008-09: 77/206 (37% 3PTM)/ 78/114 (68% FT)/ 559 pts/ 27.0 mpg
2009-10: 77/236 (33% 3PTM)/  79/114 (69% FT)/ 602 pts/ 27.7 mpg

Pau Gasol, LAL Shot 2-for-5 from the line last night. His percentage from the charity stripe has fallen off the table recently. Stats – back me up! Gasol shot 85 percent from the line in 2009 (20 games) and 75 percent in 12 games in 2010.

Andrew Bogut, MIL For the second time in as many weeks, Milwaukee’s big’un scored 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and shot over 75 percent from the floor on Monday. As they say in Australia: “not too shabby.” (I’m aware they say “not too shabby” in America too, but they don’t say it with an Australian accent do they, genius?

Carlos Delfino, MIL The Delfino Line™: 42 min / 16 pts / 10 rbd / 4 ast / 3 stl / 4 to That’s his second double-double in the last eight games, which is doubly impressive when you consider he’s only had one previous dub-dub in his career. But Adam, he’s just ridin’ a hot streak; playin’ over his head. Maybe. May. Be. But don’t you wanna ride it with him? Ride Delfino. Ride him like you know you want to. Like you’ve ALWAYS wanted to. Now go. Go before we break the spell we’re under.

Quentin Richardson, MIA 1-for-6. Still brickin’. Still startin’.

Jason Richardson, PHO He’s been a ghost this season. In only 13 of his 32 games has young Ben Vereen had a Game Score of 15 or more. What’s that mean, fantasy-wise? That in the other 19 games, he hasn’t made a significant positive contribution in more than two categories or made a negative contribution in at least two.

Robin Lopez, PHO RoLo got tired of everyone talking about his bro, BroLo. After not clearing 10 points in his first 18 games, Robin’s go himself a starting gig and has scored 10+ points in 18 of his last 11, including 18 yesterday.

Darren Collison, NO 36 min/ 16 pts/ 14 ast. I’m tellin’ you, bro.

Marcus Thornton, NO Twenty-five points including five treys. They say David West is the one that will have to step up while Chris Paul is out 1-2 months with an injury. They also say “Avatar” deserves a Best Picture Academy Award nomination, so let’s not listen to They. They is stupid. Until March, this will be Thorton and Collison’s team, whatever they make out of it. Gospel.

Ronald Murray, CHA How the hell did Flip get to the line seven times in this game? No matter, he drained all seven.

Nicholas Batum, POR 24 min./15 pts/ 9 rbds/ 1 blks/ 7-for-10 shooting. Keep your eyes wide on this guy, the chance won’t come again. The times they are-a changin’.

Paul Millsap, UTA 25 pts/ 9 rbds/ 4 blk. Someone supply this kid with the honorary Utah chinstrap beard.

Kendrick Perkins, BOS Garnett’s put a scare into Kendrick Perkins since his return. It’s not the good kind of scare, where Perkins would play harder and fight nastier. It’s more the kind of scare that seems to have made Perkins’ manhood shrivel back up into his body cavity. He hasn’t scored more than nine points in six games. Hasn’t rebounded more than five in three of those six.

Paul Pierce, BOS 12 pts/ 8 rbds/ 0 asts. Not his worst. It was a, um, comfy performance. He bumped his knee. He might miss some days.

Rasheed Wallace, BOS In 22 minutes, ‘Sheed gave the team exactly the ‘Sheed performance the team hoped to get from ‘Sheed eech eevening. Fourteen points, five rebounds, two blocks and only one 3-point attempt. ‘Sheed!

Antawn Jamison, WAS Shot 2-of-17 in 40 minutes on the floor. He’s mad as hell and he’s not gonna take it anymore.

Randy Foye, WAS Two points, four assists and nothing else in almost 18 minutes. Swingandamiss.

L I N E   O F   T H E   N I G H T
39 min / 47% FG / 100% FT / 1 3ptm / 18 pts / 7 rbd / 15 ast / 2 stl / 4 to

Deron Williams, UTA One of these men did some damage against Dallas last night. And the other guy is taller than tht first guy. We live in a crazy world.
