Picture This: Why Don’t More Models Dress Like Wrestlers?

Periodically, an image floats to the surface of the Sidelines Blog too good to let submerge back into the Internet abyss.

- My eyes went from left to right and I found myself attracted to the right-hand picture, despite my brain momentarily thinking both were pictures of Andre the Giant. Does that make me gay?
- For those who don’t belief in the strength of Lycra … I present you with exhibit A.
- After staring at this photo for … oh, I dunno, an hour-and-a-half or something … I’m still undecided on who’s got the bigger chest. That being said, Andre clearly has the more appealing one.
- Honestly, I would have killed to see Andre the Giant wrestle in the goggles that Elle Macpherson is wearing.
- This was Sports Illustrated’s clumsy attempt at Spanx. They sold the product before getting around to Photoshopping Andre’s head onto Macpherson’s.
- If these two ran into each other wearing this same outfit, who would be more embarrassed? I mean, even if we concede that Macpherson wears it better (and I’m in no way conceding that), Andre wore this outfit in the ring for years. She’s clearly wearing a men’s leotard. That’s weak, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Real weak.
