Some People Are Born Extraordinary
So everyone has been talking about Darren Helm in the Western Conference Finals, yet no one is mentioning the rookie’s uncanny resemblance to a certain peppy blond starlet. See Exhibit A (far left), the speedy forward who at this point has almost more playoff experience than in the regular NHL season.
And Exhibit B (left) perhaps the most famous cheerleader to grace your TV screen since Dallas Cowboys games were televised.
Given Helm’s ramped up performance whenever the stakes are high, it makes sense. Because really, what’s more likely: Babcock is simply leaning over to give No. 43 a little advice on handling his opponent or he’s relaying the all-important proclamation, “Save the Western Conference, save the world!”
